PAL Park is a lovely family-friendly venue with many amenities. Whether single, a couple, or part of a family there's something for everyone. Included is a sizable playground area, games, picnic area, cafe, and more. Avatars of all ages, Zooby and other brands of baby or pets are welcome.

1. INTRODUCTION & GENERAL INFO:

Welcome to PAL Park.  

PAL Park:  

- Is a beautifully landscaped, safe, fun,  family friendly, place to visit, & enjoy, as well as socialize

- All families & visitors are welcome as long as they comply with the PAL Park rules. 

- Offers many wonderful amenities whether you are single, a couple, a child avatar, pet or part of a family. 

- There are games, centralized play area, beach attached to open waters, picnic area, family friendly activities, single, couple & family seating & more...

- Is privately owned & operated.  Visiting the park is a privilege not a right.  We are not obligated to keep the park open to the public. 

- Reserves the right to remove/ban any one from PAL Park as we see fit. This includes but is not solely limited to violation of our rules as explained below.

- There may be situations that arise in which we feel it is appropriate to remove/ban someone from the park that are not stated below. 

- Rules have been created & are enforced to help ensure peaceful enjoyment of the park during your visit.  

Note:  Linden Labs has specific rules regarding conduct & objects in the presence of children as well as in general for the second life community as a whole.for more info about this please see:  http://lindenlab.com/tos  Anyone found in violation of Linden Labs ToS will be abuse reported & banned immediately.

2. REZZING & WHAT'S ALLOWED 

♦ Be courteous & fair about land impact that your family uses:

- We offer an extremely generous 250 land impact maximum usage per FAMILY.

- Using excess land impact may prevent others from rezzing what they need to at the park.  

- Any family exceeding land impact will receive a warning, excess may be returned by staff, & repeat offenses means risking being removed &/or banned from the park.  

♦We allow:

- Babies, Pets, Toys, & Baby items (All brands of babies & pets have ALWAYS been allowed at PAL Park as long as there is no advertising/promoting) 

- Zooby (Legacy & Animesh) baby care items, furniture, or closets may be rezzed in the care center at landing point & only long enough to provide care or dress baby.

- Highchairs & booster seats may be rezzed around park tables & used for role play purposes.

- PG ONLY Beach & appropriate small items in beach area such as towels, beach chairs, beach ball,  etc... 

- PG ONLY Park appropriate small items in grassy areas such as picnic blanket, outside chair, toys,  etc...

- PG ONLY Park appropriate small items in Playground area such as toys, small games, outside chair, etc...

- Do NOT dominate the space. It's okay to rez small, appropriate items within the family land impact limit however leave plenty of room for others to use the space too.

- Rezzed items should NEVER obstruct normal use of the space or items available at the park.

- If you're confused or have a question about something you'd like to rez please contact PAL Park staff.

- To access open water connected to our beach a small or medium sized water or aircraft may be rezzed in the water for up to 5 minutes

♦ When Rezzing items please remember: 

- The items you rez must be PG & appropriate to the setting.

- This is not a "day care"  do not "drop off" your babies &/or other items & leave them here.  

- All items including babies & pets must be picked up when done using them or upon leaving the park (whichever comes first)

- There is a 120 minute (2 hour) auto return for anything (including babies & pets) that your family rezzes.

- Your family may NOT use more then a (combined) total of 250 land impact at any given time.

♦There is a 120 minute (2 hour) auto return timer at the park.  

Note: Auto return items will be sent to your inventory (to lost & found folder).   

If you can not find auto returned items then try these steps:

1. Relog

2. Check lost & found folder in inventory

3. Check co-laced objects (those that are together in a group in your inventory)

5. Contact Second Life support for assistance.

3. RULES & CONDUCT

♦ While we permit almost all types of avatars at the park (as long as park rules are followed), the park is not large enough to reasonably accommodate overly large non-human avatars (those that are larger then an average sized horse for example). Unfortunately, past experience has proven these to obstruct proper viewing, use of the park, & park items.  

(Note: This size restriction also applies to any attached companions, pets, or other rezzable items for the same reasons)

♦ ALWAYS keep EVERYTHING at the park family friendly !  (This includes all of what you do, say, wear, or use while visiting.)

♦ The park is PG rated regardless of SL ratings. This means no nudity, No string/thong bikinis, speedos, see-through clothing or "wet t-shirts"  

&  no otherwise inappropriate clothing or viewable attachments. no profanity, no sexual conduct, no weapons, violence, or anything that depicts any type of destruction is allowed at the park. 

♦ Always be respectful of the park & each other.   

♦ No harassing, arguing, or fighting here.

♦ No advertising, Spamming, Scamming, Selling, or Begging of any kind is allowed.   

(Note: Although all families are welcome, PAL Park stands behind the Zooby brand and does not endorse other brands.

Please feel free to use our park, but do not advertise anything including other brands of baby or pets here.)

♦ The use of gestures is fine however over using (spamming) gestures to the point of creating a disturbance/nuisance or use of inappropriate gestures is not allowed.

All visitors to the park are expected to follow the rules anyone found in violation of these rules risks being banned 

(with or without warning at the staff's discretion) & abuse reported if Linden Labs TOS have been violated.

If you observe anyone in violation of the above rules please contact PAL Park staff right away.  & provide as 

much information as possible about the incident.  Also do not forget to abuse report to Linden Labs if applicable.

3. THINGS TO KNOW:

♦ We are NOT responsible for any items that may be lost if they are returned for any reason.

♦ If you add: EllaWysh Resident to your crawling stage or higher Zooby Legacy (sculpt) baby's friends list

your baby will be able to randomly play with stage appropriate Zooby Legacy playground toys at the park.  

♦ There are some *XeoLife* compatible items at PAL Park.  The compatible items have *XR* at the end of their name.

♦ Rezzing, clicking, or picking up some objects may be difficult in some areas due to grass, trees, shadows, 

or other items so please be careful where you rez & use camera view to pick up or click items as needed.

4. WHY ANIMESH FURNITURE/TOYS NOT PROVIDED:

♦ Due to the functionality of the Zooby Animesh toys/furniture we can NOT Provide them at the park:

- Zooby Animesh toys/furniture require that each baby be ASSIGNED to the item to use it. 

- Zooby Animesh toys/furniture require the owner of the toy/furniture be friend or caregiver to baby to assign use a baby.

- Zooby Animesh toys/furniture allow only up to 5 babies at a time to be assigned. 

- Zooby Animesh toys lock after 1 hour if the owner of the toy does not have their own baby rezzed nearby.

♦ PAL Park can NOT:

- Keep someone at the park on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis to assign & un-assign their furniture & toys for others babies to use.

- Keep their own animesh baby(s) rezzed at the park at all times & near all of their toys to keep the toys unlocked.

- Have them be a friend or caregiver to each & every Zooby animesh baby that visits the park.

- Add to the load of our very small team who generously volunteer their time & effort to keep the park a safe, friendly, & fun place to visit.

- Rez & constantly keep out multiple copies of the same furniture & toys to accommodate all of our visitors Zooby Animesh Babies. 

- Afford to let itself run out of land impact.  Running out of land impact would mean that no one could rez anything at the park anymore. 

- Stretch itself beyond the realm of what is realistic, feasible, or otherwise possible. 

♦Our solution:

❀ Reduce the number of Zooby legacy toys available at PAL Park

- This makes it a bit more fair for both the Zooby Legacy & Zooby Animesh baby owners.

- Reduces confusion about which baby can use what.

- Reduces the over all amount of land impact constantly rezzed. 

❀ Increase the family land impact allowance.

- Making the changes above enabled us to increase the land impact allowance for our visiting families. 

- The land impact was 120 per family,  it is currently 250 per family.  Which is more then double the allowance as before.

❀ Keep the happiness care center near the landing point available.

- Currently Zooby Legacy owners may rez their baby & use the furniture provided to give happiness care.

- Zooby Animesh Baby owners/caregivers may rez their own furniture to give happiness care then de-rez when care is completed.

❀ Use & Share your Zooby Baby Toys

- While visiting the park use & share your own toys.

- Try to make a point of visiting the park with friends

- If visiting with friends each rez a different toy to share with each other's babies.

- If you are animesh baby owners assign one another's babies to the toy(s)

- You & your friends may assign a toy to any Zooby Animesh Baby that you are a friend or caregiver of.

- If you're a Legacy baby owner any baby that you are the owner or friend of may use a toy that you own (if they meet the minimum stage required for the toy)

- Pick up your toys up before you leave the park

- Always stay within the 250 family land impact limit

- Remember there is a 120 minute (2 hour) auto return timer at the park.

We realize that not everyone may like or agree with this solution but it is the best & most viable one that PAL Park can offer at this time.

5. ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES.

- PAL Park host(esses) are volunteers that help organize & host family fun activities at the park occasionally.

- PAL Park activities are posted to our group notices.

- Activity ideas/suggestions are welcomed & encouraged through the mailbox next to the group joiner close to the right of landing point
